The Hult Prize team at the Institute of Engineering
(IOE), Pulchowk Campus, is set to launch its Talk Series with the inaugural
session focused on Problem Identification and Social Impact. This initiative
aims to equip students with the essential skills to recognize global challenges
and transform them into viable social enterprises.
The session will delve into the core principles of impact-driven innovation, offering practical frameworks for identifying meaningful problems and developing sustainable solutions. It serves as an ideal preparation for participants interested in the upcoming Hult Prize challenge, a renowned global competition for student-led social ventures.
The event will feature guest speaker Sushmina Baidya, a prominent social innovator and co-founder of YOUTHive Nepal, an organization dedicated to education and leadership development for young people. Baidya brings extensive experience from her roles with international nonprofits, including her former position as Regional Manager for Asia/Oceania at Peace First. The second guest, Suhana Budathoki, Brand Strategist and Media Relations Consultant. Suhana provides the strategic branding and storytelling expertise to transform your social enterprise from a student project into a compelling, market-ready movement.
