Admission
& Visa Process for Nepali Students (2025)
· While
three types of students may apply for a student residence permit, each has
specific requirements or documentation.
· You
should thoroughly review all requirements, including financial requirements
(not all residential permits require that students have enough money for the
duration of their study, but one type does).
· You
also must be sure that you have a valid passport. If you don't already have
one, you should apply for a new passport as soon as possible.
· There
are three main applications methods: online application, phone application and
mail application. When you make your application, be sure that you indicate
which method you prefer. You will find specific instructions for each
application method on the Swedish Education Agency website.
· Once
your application has been processed, you will receive an email or letter
confirming that your application has been approved. After the application is
approved, you will receive an email notification confirming your approval.
· Once
you have received your approval, you will receive a confirmation email
indicating when your residence permit will be issued.
· In
order to get your residence permit, you must complete all requirements for the
issuance of a student residence permit, including but not limited to proof of
accommodation.
· You
