The Bilkent University Scholarship is open to international students from all countries. Applicants must have a strong academic background: undergraduate candidates should have completed high school with a competitive GPA, while Master’s applicants need a recognized Bachelor’s degree with a good CGPA, and PhD applicants require a Master’s degree or an exceptional Bachelor’s degree for direct entry. Some programs may also require SAT, ACT, GRE, or GMAT scores.
English language proficiency is essential and can be demonstrated through TOEFL, IELTS, or the Bilkent English Proficiency Exam. Depending on the program, students may also need to submit recommendation letters, a statement of purpose, or a portfolio for art and design fields. Music and Performing Arts applicants may undergo talent evaluations. All candidates must show strong motivation, academic excellence, and have a clean academic and disciplinary record.
